Pfc. Lee A. Lewis, Jr., 28 of Norfolk, Virginia was killed in Sadr City, Iraq on March 18, 2005 when his patrol was hit by small-arms fire. Lewis served active duty U.S. Army with the 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division based out of Fort Stewart, Ga. Lee leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Telia J. Lewis, and daughter, Justina Evans; his parents, Elvena B. Lewis and Lee A. Lewis Sr.; six sisters, Michelle V. Lewis of Woodbridge, Va., Victoria A. Lewis of Newport News, Va., Gina M. Lewis of Hyattsville, Md., Naomi T. Lewis of Hampton, Va., Marguerite E. Lewis of Alexandria, Va., and Eola L. Dance of Alexandria, Va.; two brothers, Karl L. Lewis of Bellville, Mich., and Keith R. Lewis, U.S. Navy, USS Enterprise; two aunts, Gloria Edwards of Jeanarette, La., and Emmaline Marks of Willingboro, N.J.; an uncle, Fred Lewis (Betty) of Evans, Ga.; three brothers-in-law, Avary A. Dance of Alexandria, Va., Petty Officer First Class Terrance L. Jackson, U.S. Navy, US George Washington; and Petty Officer Second Class Donnell A. Jackson, U.S. Navy Reserve Center, Ft. Drum, N.Y.; seven nephews, three nieces and a host of relatives and friends.
